VCDS LOG FILE HELP

Featured Replies

Hello there,

I'm posting a VCDS log file with 3 issues which are the same for the module 37 Navi and 56 radio...

Can any help how to solve them?

Thank you.

Anyone?

Looks like you need to recode the Columbus to sort the CD changer and mic diagnostics.

As for the DAB, there might be a DAB antenna diagnostic you can disable but I'm not sure. If the DAB is working I wouldn't worry, it might be due to an aftermarket antenna?

Thanks Langers2k,

The CD changer yes I think it can be re-coded but I haven't found anything regarding mic deactivation for Columbus....do you think anything?

As for the DAB currently is not in used and so antenna is not connected at all, but can't find anything in VCDS to make it shut off...

I have searched and disabled some options regarding DAB from setup menu of the device but this open circuit don't know how can be disabled...

Thank you

Maybe try: 04000400040000A32000

Don't think there is anything you can do to disable DAB apart from fitting an antenna.

I'll try this log code and see..

I think it doesn't matter if the error for the antenna omission is important...I'll then leave it as it is..

Just the main problem is that there is excessive delay in the touch response from the display, like something is running behind and does not leave the device run freely, or something maybe like stucks...

This was from the first day of using the infotainment.

Especially when dialing a number from the phone dialing keyboard ie delays every pressing a lot..

Are these devices slow really to fast press buttons to react?
