hello everyone ive been lurking around the forum now for a month or so getting information about my prosperpective purchase and thought its about time i introduced myself . must say you have a very good forum here ,and i never thought ide see the day i would be about to buy a skoda after owning many fast fords.but after fixing them on a regular basis ive now seen the light and i am picking up tommorow morning a yellow 51 reg octavia vrs which the wife says i must leave standard (yeh right) few questions for everyone

what is does a standard vrs do 0-60 in and what would a modded one do it in

as i am already getting withdrawl symtems from breaking my turboed 2.8 sierra 3dr which had bags of torque and i am hopeing that the vrs will apease me

is there a local branch skoda club i can join? or club?

Hi we recently bought a nearly new 2025 Skoda Enjaq 2025 85X and three weeks ago the following happened to my wife on a flat car park: I reversed into a parking space with empty spaces each side of the car. I elevated the P switch to red light position. I opened driver door and screen was on Goodbye. I got out of car and closed driver door. I opened rear right passenger door to remove a bag. Closed that door. Remembered I needed to turn off Interior Monitoring as dog was in the boot. Opened

Noticed today that my rear view camera is seeing more than it used to, that is, I can now see some of the number plate and body work top and bottom. I'm sure it used to be just a nice clear picture of the rear without anything extra? Am I mistaken, does everyone see the number plate and bodywork?

Hi All, I have recently inherited a 2015 Skoda Fabia from my late Grandad, at current it has the Bolero (I think) 5Q0035820. I have been told in order to get Android Auto I should upgrade this to the 5Q0035842. To do this is the only thing I need to change the box behind the glovebox or do I need to change the screen as well. Additionally I have found a listing for a 5Q0035842B from a Skoda Octavia, am I correct in thinking this will work in my Fabia.

Hi, I recently bought a '22 Kamiq and found that the rear speakers aren't working. When I go to the Sound > Position section of the infotainment screen, I have the cross on the screen and I am able to fade the speakers left to right, however there are no arrows on the vertical axis and you cannot fade the speakers front to back. I have tried a Hard and Factory reset but this does not fix the issue. I have briefly read that maybe this means a wire is bust or a speaker is broken which is cau
