Help required in key fob programing

Featured Replies

At the moment the default to unlock my Skoda Octiva 2011 is one press the drivers door, 2 presses all other doors.  is there a way of just pressing once and all doors are unlocked.  i do have a vag com so any help is much appreciated.

There is a way and IIRC also one which controls which doors open when the ignition key is removed.

Using VCDS

Make sure all the doors are unlocked

Open VCDS > Go into address 09 > Coding > Long Coding > Untick Selective Locking

If you have a Maxidot you can change the settings there without vcds

For a 2012 car you can do it through the Carista App.

Below are all the changes you can make on windows, locks etc: just a part of a long list.

I bought and used a cheap wireless OBD reader for use with an iPad. Bought it initially to switch on the DRLs but have now used it for other features on the car. Italic text below is from the Carista website.

Each particular car's supported settings can be different, but here's a sample list of settings from a user with a similar vehicle:

Hi Eddie i have tried the 2nd key and its still keep putting the tick back in, unless im doing something stuipd?

I take it when you have unticked it, you come out of the coding helper to the actual page where it shows you the old and new coding with the option to "do it"

look at 13:40 to show you what i mean
