Hi all,

 

The wife's got a 54 plate 1.9 tdi Octavia Elegance and I can't get the passenger door to open. 

 

I've tried the button on the fob, the button on the drivers door that should unlock all the doors, pulling the handle from the inside, and turning and holding the key in the drivers door but nothing will open it.

 

Without being able to open it I can't get the door skin off to check for broken wires or any other problems. 

 

Does anyone have any ideas?

First give the door a couple of thumps around where the latch/lock is located, see if that works first.

If not hold outside handle open, with a flat head screwdriver move the little clip 'back' a few notches. Then try.
