Hi 

 

i got an issue with my xenon lights , i had them flickering and go out for a while so i bought new osram xenarc bulbs ( d2s ) innstalles them and they now stay on for longer before they flickering and shuts down.

 

i also noticed my light level adjusment lives its own life , it can suddendly while driving go from normal setting to allmost straight in the ground .if i turn the ignition off an on again they will go up and down and return to normal ( for a while ) 

 

i tried to run vcds but i get error on communicating with my lights , it sayes adress 29 left light protocol kw1281 note Excessive Comm Errors

 

same on the right side .

 

any one have a clue what mye problem can be ?

Could be the igniter or ballast that's at fault I have both items for sale, if your interested send me a PM?

i bought a new set of  headlights at the scrap yard but the same foult  , checked every connection and sprayed them with contact spray but still the same , it can be on for an hour sometimes longer , sometimes shorter , this makes no sens , next on my list to change is the light switch since i cant find a relay for the driving lights must be fed straight from this switch ,
