Vrs mk1 gone, fabia mk3 needs more power

Featured Replies

So I've had mk1 vrs for 103k miles and felt tied to the brand when I had to let it go. I have a new 1.0 mk3. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice car. Front assist has kicked in twice on left turners. If I slow down too much on a turner I then have zero power to accelerate again and am a considerable danger to those behind me. Front assist kicking in is in itself a danger to others behind ironically. Furthermore, I do actually enjoy and appreciate the responsibility afforded me when I drive. Financially I'd prefer not to go to an octavia or to a hot hatch brand which Skoda seem to have resigned themselves from, even giving easy ground  to Seat. The Leon is now too big; the Ibiza is a toy. The mk3 is a great shape and seems ripe for a tweak. Lower, stiffer, body kit, and as a must something bigger than a 1.4. 2.0tfsi please. Maybe call it a Fabia vrs?
