Hi everyone,

 

I own a Skoda Octavia 2010 model, 150,000 km. If the car is parked in the heat for a long time, when I try to start it, it would start fine, and just after few mins it would totally shutdown and it won't restart for another ten or fifteen mins or unless it's parked in the shade to cool down a little. I have changed the battery so it's not a battery problem and I have tried the Skoda agency here but they couldn't do anything about it.

 

Could anyone help me with this problem.

@Welli - They're only golden, not crystal! We need the air and surface temperatures that this occurs at before we can do any more than guess, and we presently don't even know what nation you live in!
