Coding diesel injector

Hi Guys

Need to replace a diesel fuel injector on my 2010 Octavia and was wondering if it is a like for like swap do i need to carry out any coding work and if so how. I do have VCDS but i am a very basic user.

Hi, 

After you replace the injector you need VCDS to code it in. In the injector head you have a number which needs to be typed into engine/security access or login/adaptation on the injector you're changing .

Just awaiting the new injector- I have noticed that all the four (4)original  INJECTORS seem to have a Zero (0) added after its number . I take it i will need to add a Zero (0) to the new injector.
