I guess so.

We seem to be gearing up for pumped hydro which is , at least, a proven system.

Snowy mountains for Victoria and New South Wales and the Iron Knob range for South Australia.

Germany really does need to get some forward planning on their future energy needs & production since their own natural resources are so poor & their dependency on imports of energy & fuels, and with Putin's growing control over Hungary and the ability to stop gas passing through Hungary for Germany or Austria, and then the German Vehicle Manufacturers having put huge investments in to plants in Hungary is a problem for them in the not to distant future.
