So guys basically today my car was driving perfectly fine no issue went to work drove another 10 miles to pick my mate up as I got there come to a junction tried to pull off in first gear the car was revving but no movement tried to go off on second gear and still the same however my reverse and 3rd gear to 6 they engage I've got very little knowledge about vrs as I've owned it only 6 months now if any one can give me an idea of what it could be and solutions,costs ect. I would appreciate it

Search for gear linkage reset and take it from there.
