Seat Arona

Featured Replies

Just seen the above on line, is the nearer Yeti size than the Ateca? if so I like the look of it, any opinions anyone?

Looks nice, doesn't look like it will be as practical/spacious as the yeti

it's basically the new Ibiza with jacked up suspension. So probably about Fiesta size inside since the Ibiza mark 6 is a little roomier that the older 2015 one I have.

Ibiza's are smaller inside than they look.

Wait for the VW T-roc based one next year, identical to Yeti sizewise.

If the 400 litres boot space is usable then it is not much less than a Yeti's 416 litres.

You are not going to get removable rear seats though are you.

An Arona Cupra will be of interest to some if that is coming, easy pensioner high seating and overtaking.... whats not to like?

isn't the Ateca just about Yeti/Tiguan size?

 Ateca / Karoq / Tiguan

Q2 / T-Roc

Arona / Coming sometime Skoda Rapid mini SUV not called Yeti 2,     seemingly.

When you gonna give to me, a gift to me
Is it just a matter of time, Arona?

My, my, my, aye-aye, whoa!
M-m-m-my Arona...

Or is it just me who gets that song stuck in the head? :D

Yes well, I only took the one rear seat out once just to see how its done, never had the need to do it since, the weight of them makes it rather impractical to be a regular pastime anyway ! :tongueout:

I've had my Yeti for 4 months now and had the rear seats out 3 times. They are not light but they are certainly not too heavy to manhandle. I love the fact that I can turn mine into a van inside 2 minutes.

Off to collect a SEAT Arona for a 4 day road test complements of SEAT.

Maybe the best time to see what this FWD small SUV is like being frosty this morning and forecast as a bit wintery this weekend.

So taking it in the North East 250 route and some other roads across the Cairngorms and obviously will drive it gently as a new car should be driven.

EDIT,

Some breakdown in communications so no Arona.

DSG's not in the UK for another month or so.

Having to slum it in a 190ps Dirty Diesel DSG / AWD. Every cloud etc..

No cloak of invisibility, but thats OK if there is snow.

I said, have you just farted in the back of the car, she said, no it’s the new car, I said oh yes it’s the new aroma!

I was looking at one today while my Fabia was getting looked at (seat/skoda dealer). Liked the look of it, my only quibble for a 1.6 diesel is that it never came with a six speed box.

Davy

But seriously arona  means:

a muscular shape that is so awesome that even heterosexual man think it’s hot

I don’t know where or who dreams this bull**** up

'Mountain of strength' or 'Colourful' sounds a bit nicer IMO.
