Goodbye Skoda

Featured Replies

After many years of Skoda ownership - 5 Octavias and 3 Fabias, I'm afraid that the next car is a VW. Briefly, I thought of changing my 2 year old Octavia 3 SEL tdi DSG Estate for a 1 year old Superb but was very disappointed in the p.ex. quote from local Skoda dealers. Plus the fact that I thought one year old Superb's with about 15k miles were overpriced. A local VW dealer offered me a much better price on a pre-registered Passat Business Estate SE tdi DSG with only 11 miles on the clock. So I'm afraid there was no contest.

I'll probably keep lurking here but thanks for all the Briskoda years and all the fascinating and helpful postings.

Adios Best of luck with your new motor.:hi:

Good luck with the Passat, a great car as well.  I'm sure you can still glean plenty from the Superb III forum which will be relevant to your new car.

Well I will be saying Good Bye to my Skoda Fabia Y reg in the not too distant future.  But I am hoping my next car will be another Fabia just a few years younger.  I might finally get to press buttons to lock my car rather than use a key.  So I just need to find my new Fabia.

Hello Good bye hello again hope you find the right one .:)
