Recycled power steering rack

I want to  use an electromechanical power steering rack from an Octavia, bought from a salvage yard, as a linear actuator to operate a gismo Im building. can anyone tell me what signals i need to feed into the 5 pin connector from the management system   to make it think its in parking mode and thus react to a steering torque input with max speed and power. The unit identification plate reads VW  AG 1K1 909 144 G. Im a good  blacksmith but useless at volts and amps so keep it simple please.  Thanks Wheelwright.
