Help.. Bloody windows

Featured Replies

So as alot of you have this problem...

Windows are doing my head in

Started off months ago both windows would stop working, i read on a forum here to change the fuses and it worked

Some times I'd do it every week or so and sometimes it lasted a good 3 weeks then stop again.

Now it's completely packed it.

I had my machanic friend take out all the wiring and check and I have no breaks

I have purchased new switches.. No luck

I have purchased a new window motor and still no luck

Can anyone give me any advise???

I had something like this. One window would not open but others would. Trying to operate it would blow fuses. Stripping the door card off and removing the motor it was still working. After taking off the window regulator panel I found the cables and pulleys snarled and jammed. Bought new regulator and panel off ebay and all good again.

Thanks for advise

Turns out the first second hand motor was dodgy too

I purchased a drivers door after someone close was breaking and took the motor off that... Fitted yesterday and now works fine
