It might look pretty but fancy air filters make no difference to the performance of a diesel engine.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

As stated above the stock air filter is good for 230bhp and so is the standard exhaust system, but milltek and Piper and common.

The 312mm brake conversion is common with remapped cars

Yeah I know the air filter is pretty decent till high power but I wanted more turbo noise reason why I am doing them 2 things , the brakes are on my list to do soon any way. What’s the best place to look for new parts ? I used to use awesome gti for one of my old cars but where can I look for new parts?

@Jameyelliott - Parts you need for a 312mm disc conversion - New disc carriers (Octavia vRS, some Audis, a dealership with an intelligent parts man), 312mm discs and a new set of pads for DS3 calipers.

Skodaparts seems like a decent site my friend.

Facebook seems to be the place to buy and sell these days.

And for new parts I tend to use dealers and eBay.  Awesome are decent too and quite local to me.

I also have a milltek cat back on mine but if your after noise I would go for a piper system with zero boxes, or a mufflerectomy the milltek isn't much louder than standard.

I have been told not all the fabia’s engines make the coo noise or flutter is this true ? If so what engines do make the noise ? :( or is it just down to the turbo ?? Any help would be great!!
