I cannot find a way of choosing a destination by post code on my Skoda MIB(Amundsen) {Amundsen 2 I presume}. Contact with Skoda UK gave the instruction "choose new destination" choose "town" ( I assumed this means type in town name) press "enter" and a post code logo box will apprear at bottom left screen. I tried this 3x and it did not happen. Skoda said they would send an email advice on the problem for which I m still waiting. In the meantime are there any 2016 vintage L&K Yeti ists who can tell me what I am doing wrong or confirm I have bought a nice car which  unfortunately  has a 17th century satnav system?

On chose new destination press where you would enter City and the postcode box appears at bottom left.

You only need to touch where the City would be, no need to enter anything there for the Postcode box to appear then touch that and enter postcode..

The Amundsen is a bit of a strange animal with input compared with say Tomtom.

Follow Urrells  advice and then use the letter or number buttons to enter your code.

So for example:  Hypothetical Postcode BR42 5GP

You'd need to enter LETTERS BR, then NUMBERS 425  Then back to letters GP.

Don't leave any gaps.

Gaps works for me. What is the space button for otherwise? The daft part is having to go back to numbers for the space and then back to numbers.

That's why I suggested not bothering with the space. It works, but just makes it more complicated for a new owner.

Keeps it simple.
