Hey guys, I’m doing a turbo change on my Fabia Vrs as the old one blew up(now found out it was a cheap chinese turbo on the car) I’ve bolted on the new ASZ turbo but the intake side is 45 degrees or so rotated so now the intercooler piping doesn’t line up.

 

any suggestions on what to do?

The housing on the turbo can be rotated, just loosen the bolts holding the housing a little and rotate it until the pipe lines up.

As duck said, see the 6/8 10mm bolts on the compressor housing, slacken them a bit to spin the housing round then tighten up. Easier to off the car and you can match it up next to the old one before fitting it.

All sorted now thanks! I got the impression they weren’t adjustable as the old one wasn’t. After fitting and removing a few times it now lines up perfectly
