I'm back - been away from the site for ages - just got too busy and found I was spending too much time on here.

 

Still got my 2011 Race Blue vRS, running BlueFin, Bilstein Shocks, Eibach 30mm drop springs, Whiteline RARB and R8 coils. Now 6 years old with almost 49K on the clock.

 

I've got itchy feet, would like more power, but require something practical as I have 3 Grandsons now, so looking a an Ex-Demo 230 vRS on Saturday with DSG and DCC. Did consider a Golf R but the boot would be too small, Superb Sportsline (280PS) would be too big as I want to keep it in the garage and we have a new (wider) Mini Clubman CooperS on the way.

 

So it's probably be either the ex-Demo if it is any good or maybe a new order 245 - just wish that they'd offer a bigger range of colours, I'm thinking Black if I order new.

 

Anyone know what the lead time is like at the moment?

I ended up purchasing a 5 month old Ex-Demonstrator FaceLift Octavia vRS 230 TSi, DSG with DCC and Canton in Quartz Grey from Winchester Skoda. I picked it up on Saturday and very pleased with it.
