Hi,

 

i have just just swapped a faulty Dance headunit in a 2008 Fabia with a Swing. It is all working correctly except it does not switch on and off with the ignition. Is there anyway I can fix this or does it require an adaptor?

Guessing your cars pre facelift? 

 

If so I have read on here that the can-bus on the pre facelift models cant communicate with the post facelift model radios (swing, amundset, bolero etc) meaning it doesnt get told by the car to turn on and off etc. 

 

Someone on here with a bit more know how might no more! I did hear of a little box that converts the old signal to a new one so it does turn on and off with the car but might be confusing it with something else.
