new car for me and both front fog lights dont work 

for the life of me i cant find out where the fuse is ,what number fuse it should be and the amp 

could someone help me please

If all other exterior lighting is working normally then it's not a fuse as there isn't one specifically for the front fogs on a 2012 Octavia.

 

I'd check the bulbs are both ok and if they are, you'll need to find someone with VCDS to do an autoscan.

 

Hopefully, that'll show a fault code which will help. There should also be some output tests to see if you can turn the fogs on...

will be checking the bulbs tomorrow ,hopefully its that ,if not have contacted someone from here locally with vcds so thats cool also 

was a police car so busy putting all the bits back together :-)

great car though well pleased so far
