Hmm ... maybe the car has ...

made a judgement on the quality of your driving skills ... or

you've lost a serious amount of weight since you were last in the car ... or

.. with that amount of dust - the car has been in a museum for several years and has forgetten what a driver is.

Otherwise - dunno ... the seatbelt sensor may be horlicksed...

Whisper :bandit: .. microfibre cloths great for those dusty screens in museums (in Chile) ...

ha ha ha to the first two, i hav actually lost weight, but not that much, i am only little and slim lol i wasn't driving at the time i was stopped, maybe it thought i had died ha ha dust in the car drives me mad, as i transport dogs to and from dog daycare as part of my job, will give a microfibre cloth a go, i have wipes in the car which i use but it seems to attract dust after initially getting rid of it, i think the dust was actually on the lense of my phone as it had been in my dog walking coat pocket lol

Did you open the door or take your seat belt off before turning off the ignition or while the engine was running?

no stop start had engaged, i was sat in ca with seatbelt on and door shut with engine on

I think there is a presence sensor in the seat, as it will bing if a passenger is seating in the seat with no seatbelt on same as the drivers side. Saw it when looking at heated seat retrofits
