Wheel swaps

Featured Replies

Daughter's looking for her first car and I suggested a Fabia. Budget means she is looking in the region of a tidy 2005'ish model. I guess most base models will have steelies with trims but what alloys will go straight on?

Thanks guys and girls,

Dave.

Loads from the similar sized VW models with 15" or 16" alloys, 5x100 stud pattern,

But if buying a basic model with steel wheels and she is a new driver looking to not pay much insurance just check if you have to declare those alloys as a modification if fitting them.

Good point Head. First car=plenty of kerbing! Might treat her in a while, if she manages to look after it. See what you mean about looking at VW group cars, cheers.
