Morning All,

 

I've carried out a search but can't find anything on this.

 

How vulnerable is the Aircon Condenser to Stone Damage on the vRS, the holes are quite large on the lower vRS grill on my FL Octavia, is there any OEM protection that can be added?

 

I added my own second grill on the Mark II FL vRS to add protection.

 

Or is there no need to worry?

I don't think I have - I'll take a look when I have some time.

 

I made it using square holes chicken wire and zip tied it in place.

Funny...

 

I was thinking just the same thing today about my vrs which I've only had 6 weeks

 

My old mk2 vrs had 2 condensers written off due to stone damage...

 

So if my vrs needs any extra protection from stones, then im all ears !
