I couldn't get my Columbus to accept the MIB 2 Columbus map update download so am attempting to update the maps now they have appeared on the download portal My problem is because of the screen resolution of my laptop a Dell XPS laptop I can't read the boxes to click after download has completed and unpacking should start. Has anyone a screen shot of the downloader so all of it can be seen or can someone tell me what the little boxes in the right hand lower corner say at each stage. I can see enough of them to click on them but can't read what they are for.

 

I have tried changing my screen resolution but it doesn't change the downloader width so whatever resolution I select it still covers the bottom edge.

Finally got the update installed. Suspect the system didn't like my SD Card finally got it working by partitioning an SDXC 65Gb card to 32 Gb and then formatted to Fat 32 4Kb allocation size and it installed in 35 minutes.

Normally any SD-card should be fine. I have a 32Gb but there are others using 128Gb without problems.

Alternatively, you can use any USB stick, USB harddrive or standard USB storage device.

I normally use a USB HDD because its faster to download & unpack to.

doesn't really help the speed of the transfer in the car but saves half-an-hour or so at the desk.
