  • If you change the number plate you may need resistors (even though canbus)    Lighting for Reg Plate festoons (had to bend contacts) you may need + 2 or 3mm width on mine   http://

  • Main Interior Light 39mm (had to bend contacts so might be better 42mm)   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/31mm-36mm-39mm-41mm-42mm-CANBUS-ERROR-FREE-SMD-LED-FESTOON-BULB-C10W-C5W-WHITE/14185757452

  • The main clear plastic panel is easy you just pull the front edge towards you it sort  of flips down (fingers only just press on edge) -  Then you can see all the fittings 2 x map readers + main festo

most expensive h7's ever created? just noticed not road legal in the small print, not sure why as i am blinded by most new Audi's which i am sure is partly LED at fronts

My number plate leds are for off road use only appearently yet the guy in Halfords sold me them then fitted them to my car in the car park:D

Unless something is broken, the glove box light will turn off.

I believe a switch activated at the back of the curved support arm.

Not difficult to check the switch is working. In the dark as you close the cover the light should go out just before the gap closes.

the led's arrived

the festoons were a bit tight to fit and thank goodness i was told about polarity as one didnt seem to work

the 2 W5W cree leds...great and more powerful, spotlight effect i guess...thing is the plastic diffuser...these lights are being used for interior lighting...wont go completely on as the led wedges stick out a bit further than a W5W incandescent..which i imagine the light fitting was designed for...

glad these bulbs arent hot so they wont melt the diffuser...

the rear roof lighting is by 2 festoon so they are ok regarding size and placement

anyone else had this "problem"???

ps the wedge led contact stub....was that bit thicker than an incandescent and took some coaxing to get it between the contacts...!! i avoided using any lubrication to get it into the slot

never a dull moment

cheers
