Well as part of the mods and on going recent maintenance on pingu the 1.4 MPI, i treated her to a new gear knob and surround. A cheapy off the bay but fit and finish are top notch.

Not sure how to do that from the app, but just search for fabia gear knob and take your pick. The vendor is 2015 happydeal. It tuck 4 days to arrive. I ordered on the Friday and it arrived on Monday.

Yeah found them

It works for me and I do know a genuine Skoda standard issue knob is £25 plus vat plus delivery. So i thought what the hell.  The only thing i had to do was change the plastic ring that holds the gaiter into the centre console. It's only little staples and was sorted in a few minutes. 

The new gear stick has infact made pingu 10% faster with its sportiness.
