Hello everyone!

Hi everyone.

I’ve been driving my Škoda Roomster for about 3 weeks now, which I bought off my Mum, who has decided to stop driving. Having owned a VW in the past, I was aware of the high standard of engineering and comfort, however my new car has blown me away with its comfort, visibility and above all, it’s MPG! I recently drove my nephew to Chepstow to start a new job, and “Captain Holly” returned an average of 59 Miles to the gallon!

Hi there, welcome!  If that's a real world mpg figure, then its certainly very good.

I have the dash computer set to display average mpg, and that’s what it was reading when I got home...

Just be mindful that the car's computer will generally be about 5-10% over optimistic compared to the actual figure.  If you want to establish the true mpg, maybe try a few fills noting the mileage.  Usually the only reasonably accurate measure.
