Hello, this is my first post on Briskoda, so cheers to everyone who helps this community.

 

Just today I purchased a 2009 Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI with 170,000 KM on it. It's been maintained immaculately by the previous owner and is running strong. I would like to continue treating this car well and I've been looking for maintenance and repair manuals in English but I am having quite a hard time. If anyone knows where to get these manuals in PDF, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have the maintenance manual PDF in Czech, as the previous owner had them downloaded and shared them with me. My level of Czech is no where near good enough to make sure Google is translating things properly, hence why I'm looking for English versions.

Sparky; thanks for the lightning speed reply. I looked at the Haynes manual and realized I should have mentioned my Octavia has 4x4, which on the back of the manual you suggested, stats the manual is not for 4x4 versions.

 

Any idea if that's just due to the haldex maintenance? Or does the haldex change more aspects of the car then I realize?

 

Langers; thank you for your reply as well. Do you know if I can download the Erwin PDFs permanently on to my PC? I understand there are prices for one day use, one week, etc. Or have I understood incorrectly?

I have the Haynes manual for my Scout, covers most major bits - just not the 4x4 system.
