Hi everyone,

 

I have poster around a little but have not introduced myself yet!

 

So to cut a long story short my son has disabilities and we always had a motability car for him. Due to the current government policies my sons disability award has been cut, we have appealed but it's gonna take 8-9 months so we lost the motability car and have had to find and buy our own car in the meantime. After a lot of research and getting peoples opinions the Skoda Octavia was recommended, multiple times. I'll be honest the only memory of Skoda I had was how much it was mocked in the 1980's. So I looked into it and the more I looked the more I wanted a Skoda, especially now they are a part of the VW group.

 

So due to my sporty requirements, it being big enough for a family, great boot space for wheelchair and pushchair etc the Skoda Octavia VRS was bought! I absolutely love it, I am making some cosmetic changes to it as I go to make it truly within my tastes but it is an amazing car (except MPG, that is bad in comparison to previous cars)!

Hello HarleyQuinn welcome along to the Skoda forum good to have you and your family with us .

Hope you win your appeal 68 % do' get has much proof / evidence has you can its is a court the DWP person will try to twist your words so take your time to think before you answer make sure your son is in court with you the CAB is a good source of info best of luck.

Yes we have to local benefits experts and law center helping us through.

 

If we win the appeal I think we are going to keep the Skoda anyway, I do love it

Great looking car!  The vRS is a good option if you want to I have lots of space and still have a car that you can have fun in when you want.
