G263 sensor or 1K0907543G Values

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the temperature/resistance values for this part? Just trying to work out whether mine is faulty and I'm not patient enough to wait for the replacement to arrive.

Thanks.

So is that the p/n for the G263 sensor? I'll take the centre console side panel off tomorrow and check that sensor located in there. Check if the number matches.

That's the p/n. For your issue I'm fairly confident you need a new G263, for me I'm not so sure. There seem to me multiple reasons for an evap to ice up, mine may still just be low AC charge. Once I have a new G263 in hand I'll post temp/resistance values for it and the other sensors. Having the info makes the fault finding fairly straightforward.

I've had a few cars in the past low on refrigerant and never had this issue before. Blowing warm air yes but not having weak air flow. So I'm not sure your problem is low refrigerant either. Fingers crossed we get to the bottom of it. I'll dig in tomorrow and see if I can locate this Evap temp/vent sensor.

I tried changing the thermistor (mk1 Fabia) only on one of these and it didn't work so ended up fitting a complete new sensor !
