Flashing a 86hp to 105hp original file

Featured Replies

hello everyone, is it possible to flash a 86hp (cbza) with a 105hp (cbzb) original ecu file?

You might as well flash it with a stage 1 tune... more power and you will get the best of the engine? But I have a 105 diesel which is a little different! @hutchysrs50 might know as hes done a bit of tuning!

I almost replied yesterday but I didn’t know for sure so didn’t bother :D

basicslly I’d say yes no problem but it’s worth checking part numbers for things like injector / turbos and all the good stuff first.

on the Diesel engines the 75, 90 & 105bhp are all exactly the same, no difference on anything, it’s just the map they get from the factory, i would think it’s a similar story on the petrol engines :)

All the tunes are the same for both engines, and from what I could find I think they have the same parts, I was just asking because I might be able to get a original 105hp flash much cheaper than stage 1.

Ask the person that has the software you want flashed.

Usually the cost would be the same as they are doing the same thing.  But they need that 105 ps engine management before they can put that on your ECU.

I'll definitely go for stage 1 if they are the same price, thank you
