Texaco High Octane

Featured Replies

i know the petrol thing has been done but has anyone used the texaco high octane 98 ron stuff as i am kinda of tied to texaco cos i got a company fuel card for texaco

Not tried texaco but just filled up with Tesco 99 Super unleaded. Absolutley storming to say the least you can really tell the difference.

it does say 98 on the pump though

I topped up the Optimax with half a tank of Tesco 99ron the other day (so that combination is now presumably ~98.5ron).

Only 90p/litre from Windle Island on the A580 in St Helens.

The car's running great today, so although it's a bit of a detour I reckon I'll be buying more of it from there.

Probably running better due to the lovely cold weather tbh.

Thats a Shell garage isnt it? I assume thats where you're getting Optimax from but not Tesco 99ron.

No, I can assure you that it's a Tesco supermarket with a filling station and has been for a few years. It used to be a Renault Dealer with BP(?) fuel.

Haydock Island, the A580/M6 junction, about 4 miles to the East is Shell.
