Smartlink help!!!

Hello, 

This is my first post on here, so please be nice! This is my second Octavia and

I have recently brought a 66 plate Octavia with Smartlink installed by the dealer,  however the phone I have (htc desire 650) does not seem to work. I have downloaded Android auto, plugged the phone into the USB and the bolero does not seem to recognise my phone. 

If my phone is not compatible can someone recommend a phone that would work? 

Sorry if this post has asked a million times before but I could not find any information. I have had a look on the Skoda website but that is not very user friendly!
