Cheers dude. all ordered

I put one in 3 years ago and then another had to go in same door a couple of months ago bahhhhh. Won't last as long as factory I don't expect, but for the price they are a bargain! New one came painted black which was nice.

Not sure if there's a specific guide on here but when I did mine I found enough info from Google and YouTube videos. There's YT videos for the Golf mk4 if there aren't ones for the octy.

Brief instructions from memory:

1. Remove door card & peel back foam to access bolts & mechanisms

2. Move window so that you can loosen the clamps at the bottom

3. Remove glass

4. Remove old regulator

5. Reverse of steps 1-4

Main thing is to be careful not to drop the glass into the door. You might need to tape the window up (and I'd recommend using a rag to protect the door from residue left by the tape).

cheers mate. the part I need to get my head around if you can help is taking the regulator off the motor and to reattach. I dont know the outlay of the skoda door as never had to take it apart.

Here you go, I'm assuming you mean front, as your link won't work for me for some reason

Did my one last year, as has been said, tape the window up in place before you undo the reg from the window. just dont run the reg up and down without it fiited to the body, as the cables move around a lot and may jump their pulleys,
