P0102 code loss of power

Hi all,

Before I start eliminating parts to trace this fault thought I'd see if anyone has an accurate answer which would be great. So I did a 450 mile round trip in my fabia vrs tdi (2004) upon return with about 50 mile to go the car started jumping in and out of power. Pulled over and switched engine off turned back on and engine light came up with code p0102. I erased code but kept going in and out of power and only code came up once engine turned off then on. Car has no power now. I bought a new maf sensor on eBay tried that but still the same. (Thinking should I of bought Bosch one) looked at wires and plug all intact.
