Fabia 2 Blower fuse

Featured Replies

hello,

can somebody tell me whats the value for the blower fuse (didn't find the value on the forum/net)

my old fuse was melted...but not burned - probably the old owner used a bigger fuse or is a contact issue...

thank you!

Depends when exactly your car was built, by the looks of it.  If it was in or after May 2008 it should be 30A, if before then it should be 25A.

This is assuming that your car has some variety of A/C, Climatic or Climatronic? Actually even if it has neither, same fuse for same age.

thank you, had no idea what to use and started testing from 5  up to 16 ...   16  works is not burning on no "4" speed but the contacts still getting hot... melting the fuse case.    is it  because of an imperfect contact? (is was thinking to solder the wires to the fuse contacts)  should i keep the 16 amp  or  change to 25 amp?

 thank you!

Use 25 unless your car was built after May 2008, in which case use 30A. The thicker fuse will not get so hot, compared to the under-rated ones you're using.
