Well I've tried again to fit the AUX socket into my fabia and a gun no joy. Is there a secret?  I've given up and gone back to CDs

I forgot to say I've even got a 6 cd dash changer that i know fits and works. I tired it it worked pretty well but the red lights were permanently on. On testing it had 2 permanent lives. Pin numbers 16 and 17 in the blue iso plug. It was too cold to mess about but I'm thing on using another switch live to turn it on and off.

Update. Have checked a few diagrams for the CD changer and figured it out.  I now have a 6CD dash changer and (because I have over 1k of them) a cassette player.

I'll study the wiring more next year and see if I can fit the AUX socket using a 'Y' adapter.  A couple of previous jeeps had this facility so I'll look into it.

CDC needs to be there for the input to work. Whilst I guess you could hack it, there are Connects2 thingies about that allow CDC plus AUX/USB/line-in.

Cheers mate, I'll look into it in January 2018 some time. It all works very well apart from right crap radio reception. Think the aerial may have pulled out on pushing in.  No biggy though.
