Low/raised boot floor terminology?

Featured Replies

Trying to find a suitable liner for my 2014 vrs but not sure which version would be the right one? The boot is standard as far as I know but don't want to order the wrong thing!

Cheers

AFAIK the factory rubber boot liner is the same for all, Mine is an estate with the VBF (variable boot floor) the mat seems to have angled cuts on the back to fit le lower floor without the VBF.

Factory ordered against my chassis number, slight possibility it is the correct one but you never know!

Yeah, looking to get one of the hatchbag thingies so there's three variations for Octavias!

If you need a Hatchbag, it’s an Estate without Variable Boot Floor. The VBF brings the floor level with the load lip on the rear bumper and lines it up with the lip of the rear seats when folded down. I’d like the floor to be that way, so there was no lip at either end but the VBF is expensive and complex to retrofit and I don’t think the mounting lugs would take the weight of a buggy and large Dog jumping around, so it’s not on the radar for me ;) I believe the loads mats are universal throughout, with cut outs for the variable floor.

The choice seems to be estate low floor, estate raised floor or hatchback! I've emailed them to ask but they're not open until the second...

It’ll be Estate low floor, high floor will be with VBF in raised position :)
