Citigo ASG- loud noise when changing up a gear

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would very much appreciate your help with the problem I am facing with my citigo ever since I received it from the dealership.

Whenever the gear changes from 1 to 2 there is a load "knocking" sound , one you can actually feel (!)  coming from the front of the car. This load knocking sound is even stronger when driving up the hill. I have gone to the car service several times since I received the car but they couldn't find the problem and their bottom line was that this is a normal sound of the car. The last time I have been there in November , they have decided to change the clutch (still under warranty back then) but nothing had changed. I am not an expert in cars but this noise doesn't seem normal. It has become very unpleasant to drive it and my warranty has finished last month.

Has anyone experienced this kind of a problem? is it really a normal thing in these cars as they claim in the car service?

Thanks
