I must admit i always thought Edition comes with 'emergency assist'.

Is it just me but the price structure on the new price list doesn't tie up? I am assuming its £350 for Edition?

I think your assumption about the price for the Edition version is probably correct (3rd column heading in the price list).  But Skoda's literature people could do with better proof readers since the £900 charge doesn't apparently correspond with any trim option! (but perhaps is the cost for the SEL, 2nd column in price list).

Couldn't see any mention of "emergency assist" being standard on any model in the October price list.

Dealer couldn't find it either but said it's probably free.

I also can't find traffic jam assist anywhere else mentioned

traffic jam assist.

i am confused because there is lack of information, then reading manual:

Traffic Jam:

"The system is designed primarily for use on motorways." - odd as traffic jam usually means city traffic, slow moving..

"The system is only available for vehicles with Automatic transmission.
The traffic jam assistant is an extension of the systems Lane Assist » page 240 and ACC » page 229 and works by using the functions of these two systems."
- i have purchased auto transmission, lane assist and ACC, does that mean i automatically get traffic jam assist?

"The system activation occurs automatically whilst fulfilling the following basic conditions.
Lane Assist with the adaptive tracking is enabled, the boundary lines on both sides are recognized lane » page 240.
ACC is activated and the regulation » page 229 follows.
The vehicle speed is below 65 km/h."

Then in the manual on Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

"Vehicles with an automatic transmission can decelerate to a standstill and
start moving again using the ACC.
Decelerate to a standstill
If a vehicle ahead decelerates to a standstill, the ACC will also decelerate your
vehicle to a standstill.
Starting to drive again after a holding period
As soon as the vehicle ahead starts moving again after a holding period, your
vehicle will also move and the speed will continue to be regulated."

I purchased ACC thinking that it will not only work on motorway but also in slow moving traffic (reduce, icrease speed, stop and start with auto hold parking brake), it sounds like for that i need in addition traffic jam assist?
