Does the 230/245 FL produce power a bit lower down the rev band?   The rev counter red line begins at 6000 rpm rather than 6500 on the 220. 

In the price list specs the 230 has (presumably max) Power RPM as 4700-6200 and the 245 as 5000-6700......

 

I'm pretty sure I've exceeded 6K in my 245, TBH I've never noticed the red line as I confess I rarely look at the rev counter.  Rev counters on road cars are nonsense really after all aren't they?.

 

We all seemed to get along without one on bread and butter cars in the past that needed the b*ll*cks revved off them to make any progress and had no limiter.
