Microphone Sensitivity VCDS tweak

Featured Replies

Haven't seen this one on here before, spotted it on the Seat Cupra forum a few days ago. Posting it to make others aware, if its something you might want to do...

Controller 5F has an adaptation for Microphone Sensitivity. You can adjust the value from 0db to 21db - i.e. increase the sensitivity of the Microphone for hands free calling and voice control. Mrs often complains saying she can barely hear me when in the car at motorway speeds and using handsfree but reported it was much better after increasing the sensitivity.

2 minute job for anyone familiar with VCDS or OBDEleven.

Thanks for that, I’m being told the BT mic in my Octy is too quiet so I will look when my OBDEleven gets here :)

And what value did you increase it to @ahenners, just so we can get a baseline?

...I get the same sort of complaints, BTW, so for sure will give this a try ;)

Was 0 default, set it to 5. Plan was to increase in 5s and test/get feedback each time :)
