Ahh, the engine's in the front now.

Featured Replies

Hello all,

The last time I had a Skoda, the engine was at the back, seems that's all different now ;)

Last week, In urgent need of a small runaround and buying on price, I ended up with a 2002 Fabia 1.4 MPI Comfort.  I've got to say I'm impressed with it compared to the series of Fords, Citroens, and Fiats I've been keeping on the road for the last few decades as second cars.

First jobs to do are the front suspension rear bushes, the non functioning rear hatch solenoid, trace the leak into the rear doors and give it a service. Wish me luck, chaps.

Have fun with the rear door leaks, at least your car should have the bolted panels instead of the later pop rivets.
