Turbo Boost Regulation

Featured Replies

Hi guys, my names Fred i'm from the great land of Oz, downuder as they say.

I have an Octvia vrs 2010 model which has just thrown a wobbly and goes into limp mode, however every time I turn the ignition off and on again it comes good for a while then goes back into limp mode.

I get the code 665 which is 'Boost Pressure Regulation' After reading about what might be going on

I have found that the boost regulator no longer holds vacuum so assume this is the problem. Can you tell me if it can be fixed or wheres the best place to but one without breaking the bank?

Another thing I discovered is that there is a slight weeping of oil coming out of the intake manifold (see pic). I dont know if this is serious as the car is quite o.k. otherwise. it doesnt use much oil between oil changes and the exhaust pipe is quite clean. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance guys.
