Skoda Fabia 2010 door sensor issue

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

Got an issue with my Skoda Fabia 2010 as it sees the driver door open even when it's closed.

I checked the car with VagCom cable and with all doors closed the driver door is reading as open. What sensor would I need to replace to fix this issue? Does the lock actuator house the sensor to tell if the door is closed or not?

Thank you.

There is a micro switch buried inside the lock, you will need to take the lock out, I am trying to do the same thing.

Check your wiring loom, the rubber boot from the chassis to the door, I found broken wires here after stripping down the door!
