Heated seats

Featured Replies

It looks like my heated seats are coming on without being actually switched on any body had same problem

No, my passenger seat base didn't come on when I pressed on! £360 later it works again....

That's a new one for me too - like numskull, I've had the right rear not come on but luckily that was fixed on Skoda's dime.

I would have thought the switch would be suspect but it sounds like you're saying more than one seat is coming on without being switched? Not just a single seat?

I have the same problem if the car is left in the open on a hot day when the car interior gets very hot.  The front seats turn on by themselves and stay hot, very unpleasant on a hot day in Australia.  If the car is parked undercover, this doesn't happen.  Additional to this issue, I have also noticed that the low heat setting is actually very hot.  Maybe the electronics have gone faulty.  I have not had any water leakage into the car.  I asked the dealer to check and all they did was reset the computer but it hasn't made any difference.

I would be looking at live data to confirm but that sounds like a software bug to me.
