I bought a 2013 Octavia Estate (1.6 TDI) a couple of weeks ago and had the overheating "STOP CAR!" message the day after I bought it...

 

Only took a quick Google search (on the hard shoulder) to find the Briskoda post, which ultimately pointed me in the right direction to get the water pump replaced under warranty.  Looks like I already owe you one, so form an orderly queue at the bar please!

 

Looking forward to keeping myself informed and contributing where I can!
