I need a replacement front spring (yet again!) for my 2006 1.9PD 105 estate with the 'sport' option suspension.

 

The original VAG part number is:

1K0411105AT

 

I've replaced 2 already in the last 3 years.

 

I am having no joy finding an aftermarket equivalent.

 

The reason for looking is the original items are £100 each.

 

Can anyone help locate a pattern part.

 

Have you tried Sachs or Bilstein online catalogues to get cross reference part numbers?

 

Genuine parts have a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty btw so can you claim?

Neither manufacturer has a suitable spring.

 

Springs are just over the warranty period.

if you fancy lowering it a bit Eibach springs are highly recommended £160 ish for all 4 springs

Thanks for the help guys, after WAY TOO MUCH searching, phoning and emailing I've taken the chance on what I believe to be the correct springs.
