Moved to France - headlight swap

Featured Replies

We have recently moved to France and I have had the Adaptive headlights on my 2010 Mark II Elegance Combi swapped for the LHD versions. Part numbers 3T1941017E and 3T1941018E. Just the €572 plus VAT each!

Please join Freedom if you wish to sell on Briskoda.

Could you not just have flicked the lever on the dipped beam units to flatten the beam? That might have got you through the CT..

I understand that the change of rules for CT's coming in later this year will accept stick on deflectors ...

I think the headlights are fantastic on the car and I wanted the same, full functionality over here as I had in the UK. It wasn't just a case of passing the CT.

Gizmo,

Understood, but I tried clicking on Freedom in the for sale section and it just took me back to a home page. Am I missing something? (Answer almost certainly yes!).

Thanks,

On my superb there is setting for travel in one of the mfd menus and I thought that swopped the headlight pattern for driving abroad?

Haven't needed to try it yet

Tourist mode in the menu for the RHD Superb with Xenon HID lights or flipping a lever for the same with halogen flattens the beam which is suitable for European travel but doesn't kick the beam up to the right to illuminate roadside/signs as would be the case with a native LHD car
