I have been a car nut for 45 yrs and recently purchased my first skoda. It was done completely out of the blue and was too good to turn down. It was the typical old lady only ever been to shops  etc etc.. Turns out this one is true,, 40000 on an X Reg and never seen a drop of rain. Keeper from new and serviced and mot,'d at local family run garage. Nobody had ever sat in the rear seats with the passenger seat only ever filled a handfull of times.. So I thought I would join the forum and find out a bit more about running a skoda everyday. Any advice will be gladly taken

Cheers Mark

Hello Mark,

Welcome to Briskoda.

May you have great pleasure owning and using your Mk 1 Fabia.

I had a 3-cyl 1.4tdi version of this car, I presume yours is a 4-cyl petrol.

Plenty of good knowledge, support, advice, encouragement available on here, with plenty other members owning and using these cars on a daily basis.

So if you need help or advice, just ask!

Best wishes

Richard.

PS. If you enjoy Briskoda, consider paying a small fee and becoming a FREEDOM member, allows you to put stuff up FOR SALE on here; more importantly, it helps with the running costs of keeping the forum alive. I think I pay it in 2-yearly blocks, the price is very reasonable!
